About Me:
I am a wife and a mom of a 5 year old boy. I live with my son, husband Pete and Hamlet, our 6 month old pot belly pig. Currently, I work for NASA Federal Credit Union, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. When I’m not working, I am at home playing with my son and when he goes to bed at night, I scrap! I tend to have more of a simple/journalistic style. Nowadays, my favorite go-to supply is embellishments because the possibilities are endless and they really do make a layout pop! Because of this, it makes it hard to keep my layouts nice and neat, free of clutter; the way that I live… What can I say, I just love my embellishments.
My Favorite Pretty Little Studio Products:
Patterned paper, Vellum, Flair, Die cuts and labels. 🙂
When did you start scrapbooking?
I began scrapping in January 2002, but I didn’t get really serious about the hobby or discover the online scrapping forums until August 2006. I remember when mom asked me to go to a Creative Memories party with her. I laughed telling her no way, I’m not creative enough! By the time I left that party, I had my first album, cardstock, pens, trimmer, scissors and lots of stickers and templates. Little did I know that I’d be addicted!
Where do you find your inspiration?
I always start with a photo that I love and then I search for patterned papers that goes with the picture. Once I have a design in mind, I search for embellishments to fill in the white space on my layout.
