Hey there, I’m focusing on using all the lovely Pretty Little Studio papers and vellum to back a large cut file. I started with this bubbles background cut file, cutting it slightly smaller than 12×12. I backed each circle with a different paper or vellum from the Treasure Island and Marigold collections. My background paper was covered with clear gesso and then I used spray inks to get pops of color peeking out from behind each circle.
To embellish my page I added arrow and alpha stickers, labels and a flair badge from PLS collections. I also added in a few puffy stickers and gold spray ink from my stash.
The Sandy Beach Watercolor stickers provided my title. It’s so much easier when you’ve got awesome word stickers to use, creating titles is not my strong suit.
The end result is a summer day, dreamy layout!
Using mixed media on pages does make for a tiny bit of warping, but that goes away once you place the layout in a page protector.
- Treasure Island: Walk the Plank, Pirates Journal Coral Vellum, Castaway Sea, Coconut Beach Long Labels, Tiny ABC Atlantic, Arrow Beach Stickers
- Marigold: Yarrow Vellum, Tansy Vellum, Day Lily
Thanks for checking out my mixed media layout today!
