12×12 | Let’s Go

I’m so happy to be a part of the Pretty Little Studio team!  Today is my first-ever blog post, hooray!

My layout shows my love for mixed media pages, you can expect a ton of inks and paints on my pages.

 

I started with a 3×4 photo of my sister, matting it with tissue paper and then using both vellum and patterned papers from the You & Me Love Story collection.  The title is a cut file from my stash, backed with the arrow paper and embellished with flair from Treasure Island.

 

Below the photo is a phrase strip and tag, with another flair, I had to use that cute girl flair because my sister is a blondie.

I love feathers, they are one of my favorite icons to use in scrapping.  Treasure Island has a ton of gorgeous feathers to choose from.  Another phrase strip and flair badge complete the layout, along with some thread from my stash.
