It’s hard to believe I have an 8 year old! Let me re-phrase that…an 8 year old in a 13 year old’s body. LOL… he constantly tells me he’s a teenager and I tell him he has a little while before that happens. I can’t wait to see how the teenage years turn out… hahaha
We celebrated his birthday a few weeks ago at The Clay Bakers. He has been asking for two years if he could have a birthday party at a pottery place. So that’s what we did… all of his closest friends and a few of his closest friends from class came. They had such a great time and I had such a fun time watching them paint and have fun! We had a good group of natural artists. 🙂
My sister Jamie came to help. She NEVER misses his birthday no matter if she’s invited or not; she just invites herself. 🙂 But we love her so it’s OK. She’s like Edward’s second mom.
For this layout, I used the new It’s Your Birthday collection!! I had to change my photos to black and white because the photos were in primary colors and they would not go well with the softer tones of this gorgeous collection.
I totally love the happy day paper! It’s so adorable. This layout came together pretty quickly once I matted the photos onto patterned paper. Then i just added a few stickers here and there.
I used a few foam squares to pop a few of the stickers up to add dimension to the layout.
I cut the “Birthday” sentiment from the branding strip of the paper to use as the title for the layout. Then added a few other sentiments as shown.
Thank you for visiting today!
