Hi everyone! Carole here to share a quick layout I created using the Tales & Dreams collection by Maryam Perez. I love how bright and colorful this collection is! It inspired me to get out my mixed media crayons and stamps! I started out with a sheet of 12×12 white card stock. I painted some gesso on the white card stock and let it dry. The gesso helps the card stock accept the mixed media products I use.
I used pigmented crayons, water, and brushes to create the watercolor background. I created a second watercolor background page to stamp flower images on. Then I cut out those stamped images for additional embellishments. I matted the photo using pattern paper from the Tales & Dreams collection. Below the photo, I placed some extra pattern paper strips with a torn edge for added layers.
I chose letter stickers and word cut outs for the title. I cut out the flowers from the Don’t Grow Up clear paper from the Tales & Dreams collection to use as embellishments and completed my layout with word stickers and word flags.
I love how this layout turned out! It was so much fun to create! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
