Morning, y’all! It’s Jinny here, on this chilly, Sunday morning, to share a couple of toddler, boy, birthday cards. I have just a little product left from the Ain’t Life Grand Collection but wanted to put it to good use in combination with a couple of perfectly-matching, cutie-patootie Vintage Die Cuts and came up with these.
Let’s get up close and personal. Shall we? I’ll begin with the “4” card, just because I made it with my littlest in mind. He turned four-years-old last Friday. Sigh. Where does the time go?
I started his card by topping a piece of the Take Note, patterned print with a piece of Feeling Playful and anchored them both, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to the white, cardstock, card face. A strip of You + Me was anchored over their connection with more gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching and wrapped with a length of Baker’s Twine, tied in a bow, near the left edge of the card face.
The darling Caleb Vintage Die Cut, along with his gold, metallic, number “4”, was then popped up, with foam tape, in the center of the card face.
The sky behind him was embellished with Mixed Bag Die-Cut clouds…
and the ground below him was filled with lots of Bloomin’ Blooms Die Cuts, some of which were popped up with more foam tape, to complete the look.
Now, on to that “3” card.
While the number of Mixed Bag Die-Cut clouds…
and Bloomin’ Blooms Die Cuts may vary for balance of the overall design of the creation, this card was made in exactly the same way as the “4” card above.
With that said, I did tie the Baker’s Twine to the opposite side of the card to balance the swap of the gold, metallic, number “4” for a “3”. I also exchanged Caleb for the Arthur Vintage Die Cut. So cute!
Thanks so much for stopping by, Pretty Little Studio friends! Have a wonderful start to your weeks! XOXO
