Card || Hello + Hearts

Hello! It’s Heather here with you today to show you a super easy card to make!

For this card, I used my small heart punch (from Hobby Lobby. It’s my favorite and most-used punch!) to cut out hearts from some of the little 2×2 swatch papers from my Feels Like Fall collection. Those 2×2 patterns are PERFECT for card making. This collection can be used for everyday events. Does this card look fall-ish to you? It doesn’t to me! Yet everything on the card is from the Feels Like Fall collection. That red heart pattern would actually be perfect for Valentine’s Day coming up soon!

So after I punched the hearts, I lined them up on my card and sewed some lines down the center of the hearts to add some texture. I lifted up the edges of the little paper hearts to give some depth to my card. Sure, it will be flattened when the recipient gets the card, but at least I know that it was dimensional at one point. 😉

I finished off the card with some typewriter alphas, a small floral sticker, and a few sequins. I love love love the impact that those hearts make on this card! This design could easily be replicated for some Valentine notes! <3
