Happy New Year, y’all! It’s Jinny back again on this first day of 2018, sharing a celebratory number. Enjoy!
I started this card by trimming the left edge of a narrow Magical Lights, patterned, paper piece with a strip of the Starry Sky print and anchoring them both, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching, to the white, cardstock, card face. I then wrapped their vertical connection, three times, with a length of white string and tied it, in a bow, near the top edge of the card face.

The “HAPPY memories” Dream Big 3×4 Pocket Card was backed with a snippet of cheesecloth for texture; popped off the center of the card face with foam tape…

and topped with “2018” Gold Metallic Number Die Cuts which were, in turn, topped with a “hello lovely” A Great Day Flag Sticker, backed with white cardstock, hand-cut out, and popped up with more foam tape. A butterfly Beautiful Bookmark Die Cut and sprinkling of Flower Crown Stickers complete the look.
