Fun Cards

2 Krissy - DT Strip

I love the shipping tags included in the Pretty Little Studio Collections.  Of course they look wonderful on layouts, and they are perfect for journaling.  But, when combined with my scrap pieces of paper, they also help to make absolutely adorable cards!  These cards were so simple and quick to make, but they look so much prettier than anything I would find in the card aisle at a store.

My first card is this 5×7 one:

The papers for this card are from the fantastic new Baby Jack Collection (Baby Payton and Baby Alex 8×8 papers).  I simply layered my shipping tag from the Neapolitan Collection on top of my papers as well as a Banana Split Bookmark Journaling Tag from the Neapolitan Collection. A Birthday Fun Paper Ribbon and a piece of flair from my own stash were then layered on top of my tag for a little extra dimension.

My second card is a little smaller at 4×6 inches, but it is every bit as cute!  To create this card, I combined my Lemon Woodgrain paper from the Neapolitan Collection with my Baby Jack Collection papers.  All the collections coordinate so well together which helps me to get the most use out of my paper scraps!  I then used a Baby Jesse Shipping Tag, also from the Baby Jack Collection.  I machine stitched a cut-out word tag on top of the tag, and then I added a small Strawberry Arrow Journaling Card (Neapolitan Collection) along with a flower that I created with punches using the following papers from the Baby Jack Collection: Baby Alex Vellum, Baby Chase Paper, and Baby Jack Paper.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my cards, and I hope that they inspire you to find creative ways to use your shipping tags!
