Merry Christmas Banner

Hello there and Happy December!!!  I am so so excited to get creating with the adorable new holiday lines Home for Christmas, and Winter Joy, but while I wait for my products to arrive, I thought I’d share this Christmas Banner I created using our older Woodland Christmas line. The base of the banner is cardboard banner shapes and clear snowflakes by Clear Scraps.  I really like the alternating shapes for this banner…it turned out so cute!

Each banner piece was created the same way, backed with paper, topped with a strip of red gingham paper and a bracket card, silver sparkly plastic snowflake (from the Dollar Tree) and a die cut on top.  From the bottom of each piece, I hung a Jingle Bell (also from the Dollar Tree) with a brad.

The whole banner was then punched and tied together with tulle for a festive look. Pop dots give the banner pieces some nice dimension as well.

 

 

While many of these papers are retired and no longer available, this would be equally cute with our newer lines!!!  This Mon Beau Spain paper (music notes) and The Night Before paper would be so cute!!
