Traveler’s Notebook | Obsessed

Hello everyone! It’s Heather back again with another Traveler’s Notebook spread. I’m kind of addicted to my traveler’s notebook, so I thought I’d use my Beautiful Day collection to make another page for y’all!

This spread started out with the Perfect Day patterned paper– it’s the paper that has all of the little patterns on one 8×8 page. I wanted to hand-cut little crosses out of all of the patterns and layer them on top of some more hand-cut squares. I ended up not liking the squares layered behind the shapes, so I just used the cross/plus signs by themselves. I kept the patterned paper as the focus of this spread, and added a column of journaling on the right page to tell my story. I knew I had a lot to say, so I preplanned my design to include lots of space for journaling.

I added some flatter embellishments to my page to finish it off– I love those cork hearts soooooo much! I think I want them on everything. I just love hearts though. 😉 Also, the Sunny Day mini abc stickers are some of my faves. Who knew yellow would be my favorite color of alpha from this collection?! What’s your favorite color of alpha?
