12×12 | Happy Together

Hello PLS fans!  It is with a heavy heart that I write my final post as a creative team member for Pretty Little Studio.  I have become a working woman after 5.5 years as a stay at home mama, so I had to give up a few of my design teams to learn how to balance work and home life once again.

I started my layout with some mixed media ink smooshing on white cardstock, then added the cut file over this.  I wanted the hearts and X’s to stand out, so I used a black pen to add more definition to the cut file.

I added several layers of paper behind the two photos, and placed these on a black bracket that I cut in half.

I used floral die cuts from the Tales & Dreams collection, mixed with some word stickers from Dream Big.  I love when two collections flow together!

I really REALLY like those clear stickers with color in the Tales & Dreams line, so I used a few to add more words on this page.

The final step was adding a banner and machine-stitching.
