Morning, y’all! It’s Jinny here today. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! My family has been super busy, especially for not having much on the calendar just yet, trying to take advantage of the nice weather to get some things done around the house. All this sunshine has put me in the mood for scrapping some older, summer pics, which resulted in a page that I’d like to share, with you all, today. You’ll probably immediately see traces of our Here Comes the Sun, Dream Big, and Blooming Hearts collections; however, I’ve also managed to squeeze in some goodies from Summer Vibes, With All My Heart, Let’s Go, and Marigold. There I go mixing collections again. I’d apologize, but it’s just too. stinkin’. fun!
I started this page by anchoring triangles of the Shine from Within and Miss You Much 8×8 prints, in the center of the textured, white, cardstock, base page, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching. I then Cameo-cut the Sunburst Background from Confetti Vellum and secured it with more gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching.

My photo, which was matted with white cardstock, was backed with a trio of paper prints, two of which were anchored with, yet again, gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching, as well as a couple of folded, vellum sheets. Tip: Don’t throw away those packaging inserts! Use them to bring in needed colors and patterns into your design. I’ve used a Summer Vibes polka dot, packaging insert here to bring a kiss of teal to the right side of the design. I then tucked a few Soul Mates Die-Cut diamonds behind the photo…

along with a Salt Lake Clear Shipping Tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow.
The photo itself was sandwiched between a Picture Perfect Die-Cut tab, which I used to house the June 19, 2012 date…
and a Here Comes the Sun Die-Cut flamingo and Our Story Pocket Card. I added a little color to the card with colored pencils and mineral spirits for shading and used it to journal, I just love to watch you enjoying yourself on a hot summer day.
A Gold Metallic A to Z Die Cut letter A for the first letter of my daughter’s name; Summer Flair Button, backed with a tangle of gold thread; “EVERYDAY WITH YOU” With You Cut-Apart Word Flag; “I ADORE YOU” Soul Mates Sticker banner; and a couple of yellow buttons, laced with white thread, round out the cluster. Tip: Add a little baby powder to remove a portion of the adhesive on the back of your stickers for dimension.
A trio of Day Dream Die-Cut clouds and an Aloha Die-Cut “sunshine” title complete the look.
