Hello all!! Anna Uhras is back with us again today to bring you more inspiration! One of the things that drew us to Anna’s work was her awesome use of mixed media on her backgrounds. Her layout today is a great example of that:
Here’s what Anna has to say: “I went by the gorgeous Ain’t Life Grand collection and used mostly the orange and pinks for this happy page, featuring my lovely friend Christel (found in the Scrapbooking community) and our youngest daughter, Astrid. I do very often use different cut files for my scrapbooking. I love the texture and dimension it gives to the page or card or whatever you are creating. For this layout I’ve used a cut file (free from Paper Issues) and I’ve backed it, just randomly, with different papers from the collection. I’ve prepared my background by smooshing and splatters with a pink and orange ink before I mounted the cut file and my stack of photo and layers. I mounted the cut file with some 3D-tape for some extra dimension. I use 3d-tape a lot!! Love it!! Then I just decorated with some stickers, a beautiful flair button and then a pair of die cut words for my title. Ohh, and of course the ordinary cotton thread and stitches!”
And here is a look at the whole beautiful project:
Stunning, right?!?! Tomorrow will be out last day of inspiration with Anna, so make sure you stop by and check it out…there may also be a giveaway opportunity :-). In the meantime, make sure you check out Anna on social media:
