I really love the different paper options that there are in the Blooming Hearts collection and how smaller sizes have smaller versions of the patterns. So I decided to use my 4×6 paper pack and cut out some tiny frames.
I used my WeR Memory Keepers frame punch board to cut a bunch of 2×2″ frames but since the shape is really simple you can definitely cut them manually with your trimmer, craft knife or die-cutting machine.
Once I had all my frames cut, I spread them across the bottom of my page to create a fun pattern. I saved the middle scraps from the punch board and once I had all the frames stuck in place I added those tiny inner pieces in my frames. I mixed the different patterns to balance the colors better.
To embellish my page, I used my favorite die-cut pack “Blooming” which is full of lovely flower shapes and clusters. I used almost a full pack to create the floral layers around my photos.
Instead of using pattern papers to layer behind my photos I used some pieces of packaging from my collection. I also used some banners to add more interest and help my photos pop from the busy background.
I also decided to create a smaller cluster at the bottom right corner of my layout.
The final touch was to add some yellow splatters with my Heidi Swapp color shine spray in Butter.
