12×12 | Ain’t Life Grand » Pretty Little Studio

Hi everyone! I am sharing a layout I created today with the Ain’t Life Grand collection by Ashley Horton at Pretty Little Studio. I have really enjoyed creating layouts with Ashley’s kit! I love its versatility! I usually create layouts featuring my daughter but this time I had a photo of two of my nephews that I just had to use with this collection. I love the blue, green, and black colors in this layout.

I began with a 12×12 sheet of white card stock. I used black ink and a clear stamp to add the ink splatters to each of the corners. I attached a cut file with the 8×8 Clear Shake it Up behind it. I matted the 4×6 photo with You and Me paper and the Feeling Funky paper. I tore a strip of the Take note paper and placed it behind the two papers on the left side of the photo for added layers. Two torn strips of paper were added to the top and bottom of the layout for added color. I attached the title and completed the layout with embellishments and handwritten journaling.
