Morning, friends! So glad to have you back visiting! It’s Jinny here today, sharing a page inspired by the Pinterest photo below and Marie Pierre-Capistran’s newest collection, Winter Joy.
I started this page by creating a blue, watercolor wash, just behind where my photos would lie, on the 12″ x 12″, watercolor, paper, base page. I then speckled it with those same shades of blue, as well as Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints. Once everything was dry, I smeared a little modeling paste, through a snowflake stencil, for extra texture. Lots of pretty prints, including a couple smidgens of vellum, as well as a bit of Tinsel Town’s Candy Cane Clear paper, were secured, some with silver-threaded, straight, machine stitching, behind my photos, which were matted with white cardstock. After tucking in a number of those fabulous, white, cardstock, Swaying Birch die cuts from Poppystamps’ January 2017 Release, I grounded everything with the “let it snow” title, which was Cameo-cut from Basic Gray cardstock. turn our attention, clockwise, to a Chrysanthemum Shipping Tag, laced with Baker’s Twine, tied in a bow, as well as a silver, striped Winter Joy Tab.

The space between the top, connecting corners of my photos was embellished with a Winter Glee, holly die cut, as well as a Winter Friends Flair button, backed with a tangle of silver thread. A Holly Jolly Magical Words Sticker rounds out the cluster.
Another Magical Words Sticker was tucked under the Winter Glee, “joy” die cut in the top right corner of the page.
The right side of my photos was embellished with a darling Christmas Felicity Vintage Die Cut, tucked in behind a house die cut, which was backed with another tangle of silver thread, and amidst a trio of tree die cuts.
The house and all of the trees come from Winter Joy’s With Glee and Jingle Bell Words die-cut packages. A third and final Magical Words Sticker was tucked under the left edge of the house.
A heap of Cameo-cut, white, cardstock snowflakes and snowflake die cuts, from those same Winter Joy die-cut packages above, some of which were popped up with foam tape for dimension, rain down on the top of my design; and a scattering of Crystal 8mm and Snow Fall Sequins complete the look.
