monique

Hello Pretty Little Studio friends!! Monique here, once again wishing you a very happy 2017!! Today I want to share another “Tinsel Town” layout with you. On December 31st I shared a layout on which I used 8 Christmas trees which I had cut with my Cameo using the Tree Farm cut file from The Cut Shoppe. For today’s layout I used the negatives from those cut Christmas trees. I don’t want to waste anything from the awesome Tinsel Town collection and that gave me the idea for this page:

Although the design is very similar, the page is very different from the first one (you can find all the ins and outs of this first page HERE):

I matted the negatives with different patterned papers and this made for a wonderfully colorful page and as far as I’m concerned, the more colors the better! Next I decorated my page with lots of die-cuts, stickers, tags etc., like this cute Santa and the little pink house:

Love those black board shipping tags!!

This cute deer is one of my stash of cut files, I got him from the Silhouette store at least a year ago (I always cut a whole bunch of designs at ones so I have a little stash for when I want to add one):

Above the photo I adhered one of those fun square tabs with my daughter’s name and one of the stickers from the sheet called “Nice List Words” and of course I also had to include some of that awesome gold vellum:

A no page is complete without a flair button, isn’t this one cute?! The gold foil Thickers are from my stash:

For the finishing touch I added a few cut-apart flags, some gold foil spray mist drops and of course a bit of machine stitching:

Instead of stitching along the edges of my layout I thought I would add a hand drawn black doodled line. Really liking the result. What do you think?

And here’s a list of all the PLS products I used:

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today!

xx Monique
