Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their loved ones. My New Years Day was just perfect, and I had time to create this layout with my favorite pic of my girls from Thanksgiving. I even met my first intention of the year, which was to carve out more time to scrapbook!
I used both the Tinsel Town and Holly Jolly lines to create this layout. I just love all the different mediums in the line, from vellum, to cardstock, to acrylic and woodgrain…it really helps give a nice depth to the layout without taking away from the photos.
As you can see, I used two 3 x 4 journaling cards to create the lower embellishment and title area. They matched the size of the photo and worked really well together. And another look at the layers…love it!
I was a little miffed that I couldn’t get my sewing machine working today…I think it needs a tune up…so lazy stitching it is…
Thanks for stopping by today!! Cheers to a wonderful year of fun, family, and memory keeping!
