What’s Christmas without some kind of wreath? I created a wreath on my 9×12 layout today, embellishing it with tons of die cuts from the Tinsel Town collection.
I used a cut file from my stash to create the wreath, which is inspiration for my page. Once cut, I decided to jazz up the white cardstock background by applying white paste through a dots stencil. While this dried I started I fussy cutting the poinsettia’s from a piece of patterned paper. Before applying anything to the page I flicked on some spray inks in colors similar to the Tinsel Town collection.
The photo is the most important part of any page, so I placed it on the wreath first and then built out the embellishments around it. Of course I had to add a few flair badges! To make them stand out I nestled them in gold thread nests.
To fill out the rest of the wreath I used a ton of die cuts, tucking them in and around the poinsettia’s.
I used some phrase stickers from my stash for the title, adding it towards the bottom-center of the wreath. I added in a few lines of journaling plus the year towards the bottom of the page.
