- I chose a fun piece of Pretty Little Studio paper as my base. I knew I wanted fun and bright, so Sunshine was the perfect answer.

- I knew I wanted the whole page to be fun and bright, so the garlands would be a mix of yellow, orange and turquoise. I began snipping away.

- After the flags and garlands were clipped, I chose coordinating colors of bakers twine and adhered them to my base. Then, I chose a pattern and went to town attaching the pennants to the page. I wanted the look to be fun and very graphic, so they are close together and overlapping.

- I also knew that I wanted to add a little bit more visual interest without taking away from the banners. So, I punched some squares and created triangles to add in a couple of places on the page.

- After that, since this was ultimately a pool page, I wanted to add spray ink splatters to mimic the overall feeling of water. I chose to stick with the orange, yellow and turquoise feel.

Valerie Durham - VERY fun page – it is very bright and summery!
Tina Walker - I really love this layout Jennie! Great use of colors and design!
