For this 4×4 decorative gift box, follow these instructions:
- For the Base:
- Begin with an 8″x8″ square piece of cardstock.
- Score the paper at 2″ and 6″. Turn 90 degrees and score again at 2″ and 6″.
- Fold your scored lines.
- From each side, cut ONE slit up the side of your scored line. You will have four slits, or one on each side.
- Add adhesive to the corners of your tags.
- Fold the box up and adhere.
For the Lid:
- Begin with an 8″x8″ square piece of cardstock.
- Score the paper at 2″ and 6 1/8″. Turn 90 degrees and score again at 2″ and 6 1/8″.
- Fold your scored lines.
- From each side, cut ONE slit up the side of your scored line. You will have four slits, or one on each side.
- Add adhesive to the corners of your tags.
- Fold the lid up and adhere.
Embellish as you like. Add candy, a card or anything you like to your little gift.
