Layout Tutorial

  • You will need: PLS patterned papers and products, three (2”x3”) photos, stick pin, organza ribbon, sticker label, alphas, rhinestones, mist and distress stain.

  • Cut a piece of white cardstock to size (8.5” x 11”). Flick the cardstock with orange mist and green distress stain.
  • Cut the orange cheveron patterned paper from the Antique Store collection to size (2”x8”) and adhere to the left side of the cardstock.
  • Outline your photos with black pen and arrange them across the center of the cheveron paper. Add a large word flashcard below the lower edge of the photos and ontop of the patterned paper.

  • Tuck the “funny talk” journaling cards between the layers of the photos and cheveron paper. Add an orange train check ticket, from the Scaredy Cat collection, behind the third photo and a vintage clown tag on foam tape, above the first two photos.
  • Cut a small strip of “eyeball soup” from the Scaredy Cat collection (lime green) and slide it below the first photo and the large word flashcard.
  • Add your title directly to the “funny talk” journaling cards.

  • Add your label sticker to the top left “funny talk” journaling card and the stick pin to the lower “funny talk” journaling card. Tie the organza ribbon around the stick pin. Add rhinestones and a date stamp to the label sticker.
  • Journal your story directly onto the large word flashcard.
