Okay, seriously, I thought Pretty Little Studio’s Sand Castle Collection was the best ever when I first saw it. Next, the Nature Walk Collection was revealed and I was in love. I knew it couldn’t possibly get any better or cuter than that. But then, the fabulous think tank at Pretty Little Studio recently revealed the Neapolitan Collection, and I was blown away! Seriously – the “oh-my-goodness-I-HAVE-to-have-every-single-thing-in-this-collection” factor was taken up to the next level – and I didn’t even know there WAS a next level! What do I love about the Neapolitan Collection? Well, let me tell you…
First – Pretty Little Studio now has flair!!!
When I saw the packages of flair in this collection, I started jumping up and down and doing a happy dance at the same time! I am not kidding you – I took the packets and ran to my husband, excitedly yelling, “Flair! Look at all the lovely flair!” I am positive the hubster didn’t have a clue what I was talking about (and could have cared less); but he is a good man, and he dutifully oohed and ahhed over all the pretty flair with me.
Second – look at all these word phrase stickers!
I love word phrase stickers like this and have begun using them more and more. Of course, they can be used as captions to go on or around a photo; however, I chose to cut the ends and turn them into pennants. Each word phrase pennant describes things my daughter enjoys doing right now – perfect when used with this photo taken on her first day of school!
Third, this Collection has so many fun journaling tags!
This collection has a fantastic assortment of extra-large journaling cards, including one that contains the “ice cream” image which was the initial inspiration for my layout. The cards are perfect for PL type scrapping (like the ones created by our fabulous Lisa Wilkinson), for making mini-albums, and for fussy cutting like I did. If you don’t need a big card, Pretty Little Studio offers everything from tiny arrows that can be journaled on, to word bubbles, to large pennants and arrows. Just like shoes, you can never have too many! LOL!
Speaking of journaling cards, did you notice that most of my layout is made up of Pretty Little Studio journaling items? It’s true – I used 7 different cards, pennants, arrows, and word bubbles that are originally intended for journaling. What are some of your favorite ways to use YOUR journaling cards – other than journaling?
